For those who do not yet receive my Artwork Update Newsletter, I did have two painting that recently won awards at the Wild Horse & Western Art Show in Rock Springs, Wyoming - "Head Rest" and "Out of the Dust" which can both be seen under New Works.

And now a different type of award for the family; my great-great grandfather, Donald Stevenson was inducted into the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame this past weekend. Born in Scotland in 1846, he became a great rancher (1600 head of longhorns), an entreprenuer that ran freight wagons in the Dakota Territory and was a state representative. A bit of history of which we are very proud.
